Membership in the Indianapolis Rose Society is open to anyone interested in roses.
We have members who are just starting to learn about roses and members who grow from one rose to those who grow 400 roses and are excellent at mentoring.
We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm at the Sullivan Munce building in charming downtown Zionsville except for special events. Our time together ranges from guest speakers and member garden tours to workshops on general rose care, dealing with rose pests and diseases, rose propagation as well as recommendations for growing roses in our region.

We are a group of amateur rose growers with varied levels of experience–members with hundreds of roses and members who have one or two. Making this group the perfect place to learn!
While our society is classed as a horticultural society, in reality, its function is to educate–through information offered at meetings, workshops, newsletters, website, blog and our social media presence.
Our time together ranges from member garden parties, wine and roses parties and tours (always popular as there are some amazing gardens) to workshops on rose pests and diseases, general rose care, as well as recommendations for growing roses in our region! It is amazing how much we learn from the experts we bring in and from our local members! There’s always friends, fun, food and plenty of ROSE TALK!
